These are all yet to come online, but we have put up some new brads, sequins, prima flower tins and of course the Organic Collection!

With Sympathy

Here is quick posting of another card from the Organic Collection. Just spent the weekend in a volleyball tournament it was fun, we made it to the finals, but ended up in second place. Sorry the shadows are bad on this card, I couldn't get it to scan well because the scallop is raised.

Inspiration!

A few days ago my husband bought me a beautiful journal from Starbucks, the band said "Draw inspiration from the world around you." Since then I've been collecting little pieces of inspiration for paper crafting from magazines & ads and then tucking them in my journal. It may be the colour combination, or the design layout, either way I can picture them transferring to a card or scrapbook page. I will have to post a 'before and after' once I make something from one of the cut outs.

Quick Card!

Well this was simple and easy, just layered strips of Paper Frills and Felt Fusion - Bug out Black. I wrapped a ribbon around one of the frills to tie in the black from up top and stamped "wonderful" on the bottom with a stamp from Micheal's.

Fun with Felt!

Felt Fusion - Bug out Black (1.6) is now online! The felt comes in a long self-adhesive strip, and you can cut pieces from it like I did here with the flowers and ladybug. The ladybug in on the inside of the card, it's peeking through a scallop shape punch out. You could play off the ladybug and make a card or layout that says...."On your Bug Day" or Happy Bug-day". Here I used the Party Mix - Beetle Black Cardstock stickers and outlined them in pink to tie in with the brads from Charms & Brads -Kissy Fit that I used in the center of the felt ladybug and flowers. The "Birthday" is from Stampin' Up!'s it's your birthday set.

Using Up Materials

For this card I had the curves already cut from the Mother's Day Card so I thought I might as well put them to use. I'm finally running out of loopy lou letters -- they really went a long way, I was trying to see what I could spell with some of the left overs and here is the end result!

Live Well

This is another card to go in the set I'm making for my mom! Here I used my BoBunny Necessities Flex Ruler to shape the corner of the card. I put some sugar coated rub-ons on the inside of the card so they would peek through. The flowers are from the icons cardstock stickers, with a button in the center of each. Paper Frills make up the stems. All the papers and embellishments here are from the Butterfly Collection. The stamp is from Stampin Up! and so are the punches I used to cut out the scallop and the circles.

The Gift of Cards...

What do you get for someone who has everything? A box of handmade greeting cards! The other day my mom was over and was planning a special trip to the store just to get a sympathy card. I told her not to bother and pulled out one from my stash. This got me thinking, what a better gift than a mixed tin of greeting cards as a Mother's Day gift! Here is one that will go in the set. It's made with the Butterfly Collection and a piece of Precious Metal Hardware - Silver Lining frames one of the flowers with a jewel in the center. The Stamp is my most used "Happy Birthday" from Stampin Up! Later on the case from the Precious Metal Hardware will become the tin the cards will go in.

Mother's Day Card

Okay, now I know it seems early to be working on a Mother's day card, but it will be here before you know it, Mother's Day is May 11th this year -- so that's just a month away! Besides I was inspired by my new BoBunny Necessities Flex Ruler, I've wanted one ever since they came out and so I just couldn't wait to try it! It was great, it pushed me outside of my comfort zone (I usually work with straight lines!) and enabled me to create a different design. The flower is from **New** Prima Sprites - Green Dot Floral Embellishments.

New Baby

A friend of mine from Volleyball just had a baby girl! This is a card that I made to go on their gift. It's a redo of the Thank You card design I have posted in my Created With Paper gallery. I just loved the look so much and needed a quick card to bring to our big playoff game tonight!

Puppy Love

My 2 year old is in love with dogs. When I went to make her a card I realized I don't have any dog stamps, so I dusted off my sizzix die cuts and created this birthday card for her in combination with the Butterfly Collection.

Beautiful Girl

How Do You Like Them Apples?

The Butterfly Collection shares the month of April with my daughter's second birthday and rightfully so, as she was the inspiration behind this collection. I loved the pink, orange and green in this photo taken in our new backyard where Charlotte discovered the fruit of our apple tree. This collection is dedicated to her!
